This policy explains how GetIt Express Private Limited (“GetIt Express”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information. It is published in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) where applicable.
1. Scope
This policy covers the corporate website at company.getit.expressand any direct communication you have with us by email or telephone. Each of our consumer or business solutions carries its own privacy notice that takes precedence within that solution's scope.
2. Information we collect
- Information you provide. When you write to us at any of our published mailboxes (general, careers, press, security, grievance), we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you send.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested path, response status) for security and operational diagnostics.
- Cookies. This corporate site does not set tracking or analytics cookies. Strictly necessary cookies may be set by our hosting provider for fraud prevention.
3. Why we use it
- To respond to your message or application.
- To diagnose, secure, and operate the website.
- To meet record-keeping obligations under Indian law.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with: (a) service providers strictly necessary to operate the website (hosting, email delivery); (b) professional advisers under confidentiality obligations; and (c) government or judicial authorities when required by law.
5. Retention
Email correspondence is retained for as long as the underlying matter remains active and thereafter for the period required by Indian tax and corporate law (typically eight years). Server logs are retained for ninety days unless an active investigation requires longer retention.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to (a) confirm what personal information we hold about you; (b) correct it; (c) erase it where we have no ongoing legal basis to retain it; and (d) withdraw any consent previously given. Requests may be sent to grievance@getit.express.
7. Children
This website is intended for an adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18.
